Motivating Inclusive Business
The Institute of Directors (IOD) is leading the way on motivating the Boardroom to be more diverse and inclusive. The UK Tour of Inclusive Business arrives in London.
You can read more about Global Business and Connected Business (and the local Nottingham version) in their respective blog posts. Once again I was asked to cover the photography for the latest London event at the Leonardo Royal Hotel, St Paul's.
The Venue: Leonardo Royal Hotel
The Leonardo Royal Hotels are some of the very best places to stay for business or pleasure. Excellent service, courteous staff, and fabulous facilities combine to make the St Paul's venue the perfect location for any event.
Amie Willenberg and Laura Jumnoodoo of the IOD put together a slick programme with thought provoking and lively content. Of course the event would not be the same without Sponsors Jaguar, Breathe HR, and Premier.
Inclusive Speakers
The main keynote speakers included Dr Shola Mos-Shogbamimu, Liz Johnson, Elizabeth Oni-lyiola, Bola Tinubu and Santino Pietrosanti Jr.

The Panel Discussion: Unconscious Bias: Santino Pietrosanti Jr joined Dr Shola Mos-Shogbamimu, business guru Dowshan Humzah, Founder and CEO of Breathe, Jonathan Richards, and Liz Johnson to discuss Unconscious Bias. Whether it actually exists, and how to tackle it where it does.
Round-table Discussions
To round off the day in-depth discussions were held by experts from a range of sectors.
The final note went to Charlotte Valeur, IoD Chair, who gave a characteristically impassioned and inspiring speech about the work of the IOD towards diversity and inclusion.
