What Happens In My Portrait Session?
I create beautiful memories for you that will stand the test of time. Portrait photographs that you can touch and feel and bring out emotion.
Before your portrait session
A few weeks before your portrait photography we will meet up, probably where you would like your portrait session to take place (remember I bring my photography studio to you).
We will get to know each other and you will be able to share with me your ideas about the portraits that you are looking for. You may have a certain style or look that you want. If you have any questions, worries or need advice then I am on hand to help.
Perhaps you would like to involve other members of your family and have a family photoshoot with some group portraits as well.
You will be given an online portal where everything connected to your photoshoot will be in one place. Items such as galleries, design proofs, files, links, videos and any other documents. The dates and times of our meetings and even a place for you to keep all of your information like contact details. Your portal is available to you at any time day or night. Should you have any worries, questions or new ideas then you can contact me either by email, text or telephone. Your portraits will be your memories and we both want them to be just right.
During your photoshoot
On the day of your portrait session, I will arrive in good time, have all the equipment I need, and be ready to support you in getting ready and feeling relaxed. Throughout our time we go at your pace. There is no rush. If the children are struggling we can mix things up to give them a break and change the mood.
We are in your home. So changes of clothes, make up fixes, fixing spillages, last minute ironing, hairstyle changes, and finding props that are personal to you are all pretty straightforward.
At the end of your portrait session, we will set a date for me to come back for you to view and choose your portraits. Nothing beats seeing your printed, finished portraits in person and even putting them up in your home that very day.
After your portrait photographs have been captured
I will prepare the best portraits from your photoshoot, all fully edited, finished, printed and matted. There will be no ‘hard sell’ involved whatsoever. You just choose which photos that you love and want to keep in your beautifully crafted walnut folio box.
If you want to order custom wall art such as a framed portrait or mega mat or go for an album such as the Favola you can do that as well. Everything I do is bespoke and I keep you up-to-date with when your wall art or albums will be ready.
An online gallery will be in your portal area that includes all of the portraits that you have purchased. You can download these digital negatives and share them with family and friends.
Once you have your beautiful portraits it is time to enjoy them and share your memories with your loved ones.
