Your Portrait: An Investment In Memories

Firstly, why call it an "investment", and not "price"?
The answer is simple. Because in five, ten, twenty or even 100 years from now, your beautiful portraits will be priceless. Can you imagine how much your loved ones will love looking at the real you? How do you feel when you find that treasured photo of your parents or grandparents? How do you want to be remembered?

Your bespoke portrait session - Your entire portrait experience is customised to you.

Together, you and I will plan the look, feel, styling and experience that you want to have. You can include in your photoshoot your partner, family members, pets, wider family and friends. You may wish to include some business images for your LinkedIn profile, company website or shareholder report. You can even have your passport photograph taken!

Your viewing and ordering appointment - Your products will also be custom made for you, so you choose how much you want to spend.

The best portraits from your photoshoot will be brought for you to look at - all fully edited, finished, printed and matted. You get to choose which portraits you would like to keep there and then. There will be no ‘hard sell’ involved. You just choose which photos you love and want to keep in your beautifully crafted walnut folio box.

My Promise To You:

* I will go at your pace during your session and build your confidence - it will also be fun!

* You will love your portraits and want to show them off

* No pressure on you to buy anything extra at the viewing, just buy what you love

A little more about portrait giclée prints

Looking through my website you will start to pick up my preferred style in terms of posing as well as the final look of the portraits I create. My style could be described as painterly. Your portraits will look something like a painting when you look at it on a screen - be it a computer, TV, tablet or mobile phone. Your final prints will be one step further - they are matt and have a very slight texture. They are thick, like a card, and some of my clients are convinced that they really are paintings!

Your fine art prints are not available from the high street. They are called Giclée prints.

The word Giclée is derived from the French verb gicler meaning "to squirt or spray". Giclée is used to describe a fine art digital printing process combining pigment based inks with high-quality paper.

Giclée prints are printed on a variety of substrates or mediums, the most common being cotton rag. This fibrous paper transforms a photograph into a painterly, soft image that adds a classy, decorative feel making it perfect for your Portrait.

Décollage edging gives the feel of a ripped edge. This is particularly effective in the Favola album which has a traditional vintage feel. Décollage is available at request, although it is not available on matted prints as the mount would cover the edging.
