I had spent the day attempting to get some street photography. I had failed dismally and needed a well-earned sit-down and coffee before heading back to my hotel.
I spotted the entrance to Kings Cross and decided to pop inside and see what all the fuss was about.
The ceiling of Kings Cross had been refurbished into an amazing (and frankly unbelievable) structure. I found myself spending quite a bit of time trying to work out how the ceiling actually stays up - there do not seem to be enough support pillars. But it works!
The roof reminds me of a curve of pursuit. As an ex-maths teacher, this sort of thing is fascinating.
I hope you like the image.
